Union: MOVEUP 

Monthly Salary Range: MoveUp Group 10, MIN $6,443.00 - MAX $7,726.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.

Recruitment Range: MIN $6,443 – STEP 3 $7,154.

Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union.

What you'll be doing...

The Revenue Analyst is responsible for the development and sustainment of all data analysis and reporting for BC Transit’s fare collection technology solution. This role will play a key role in efforts to increase transit ridership and revenues across the province through identifying opportunities to achieve business objectives by utilizing the data produced by the fare technology solution and other available data sources. Additionally, this role will provide regular reporting to a variety of internal and external stakeholders on topics like transit system revenue trends and technology solution performance. The position requires a high degree of collaboration with other areas of the organization and a strong customer-centric approach to ensure that the analysis and reporting produced satisfies the needs of the intended audiences.

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize reporting software and business intelligence tools to organize, analyze and present data (especially PowerBI).
  • Experience with preparing reports, presentations or other documentation for a variety of audiences.
